Yesterday we went for a walk in the forest and to give the dogs a run. Justin was away for the day and my parents came over for a visit. Our children are blessed with all four young and healthy grandparents and as my parents live just a 40 minute drive away we see them once or twice a week.
It was mild for November and there was still some colour in the trees.
We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. Even on an overcast day it's lovely to be up in the mountains, you could be anywhere. Justin and I both grew up in suburbs of London and so never take our surroundings for granted.

There are always lots of treasures to be found and Grandma and Grandpa have a wealth of knowledge which they share with the children.

Amber always runs on ahead and then looks round as if to say 'well are you coming then?'

She can't resist a puddle though!
